Hello and welcome!
My name is Mary Caroline Whims. I’m a writer and poet currently making my home in Michigan. I believe that a writer’s work is to bear witness to the reality of life in all of its glory and darkness. I hope that if you read my work, it makes you feel seen and inspires you to tell your own story. My longstanding love affair with words has taken me from the pages of literary magazines to writing for strangers in the street. Right now, I’m working on my first book of poetry, Neon Cathedral.
